Vanity :)

I have always wanted a big vanity to be able to sit and relax and get ready. Which is kinda ironic coming from me since Im always rushing out the door half ready and late. But I was determined to make my dream vanity that would match my room perfectly!

My mom and I were riding together  home from work and we saw this random sale of old furniture at a resale shop on the side of the road.  This is where the summer adventure began :)

Before all lonely in my garage
I looked on Pinterest for days and finally found an idea that I thought would look perfect! And after many trials and errors (and a lot of mode podge and paint) it was perfect!

The stool I got on craiglist for $15 and it ended up being the perfect height! It was meant to be :)

Paper layers take one... fail

Dad did a great job painting my desk :)

Before: it truly needed some help!

Finished with the new fabric choice and top coats of
Polyurethane

Ready to be loaded in the car for the 20 hr road trip!

Finally up and working in the new room!!

Who needs to study anyway?!

I get bored easily with my room. I definitely think I'm going to be one of those wives who makes their husband trip over furniture constantly because nothing will ever belong in the same place. The constant change is fun to me though, but maybe thats why I have such a love for chaos.

Not too long ago I was completely bored and unsatisfied with how my bed looked. It needed a little bit of sprucing up! So I made pillows that were super easy to make and took me no time at all!  (Plus I already had the flowers made from half-done projects gone by...)

Take a look :) Pretty happy with how my rainy day pillows turned out!
